Depression happens. It's so common in fact that the majority of people in the U.S. will experience it at some point in their life. Depression can range in extremes from mild to intense and often goes untreated. Up to 80% of those experiencing depression don't seek help for a number of reasons.

Feelings of being lost, stuck, not good enough, or broken can be indicators that depression is present. When these feelings and interpretations of self linger on they can have serious impacts on our behaviors and our quality of life can start to diminish. It can be tough to move forward as this cycle leads to less and less engagement with life and those around us.
Grief and loss often bring with them feelings of depression and many of us attempt to navigate through loss alone. These moments in life when we are parting with someone or something that is irreplaceable can be the most challenging moments to attempt to push through without support.
